Guidelines for Entry

ASSESSMENT GUIDELINES & JUDGING CRITERIA

The judging panel is made up of four individuals from a wide cross section of backgrounds including business and academia. The Wanneroo Business Association Board of Management and staff are not involved in the judging process, Board Members do not know the results until they are announced at the Awards Night.  The independency of the judging process means there is no conflict with businesses of board members nominating for these awards.

All business award entries will be judged on the ‘Standard Criteria for All Award Categories’. This includes:

  1. Business Fundamentals
  2. Management, Vision & Operations
  3. Planning & Performance
  4. Tell us why you deserve to win an award!

In addition, businesses must also answer the ‘Category Specific Award Criteria’ for each nominated award category.

  • Where supplementary materials, attachments and appendices are included please ensure you directly reference them within the relevant criteria, otherwise judges will not refer to them as part of the judging.
